Run Islandeady 5K & 10K

Officially measured course
License is granted by Athletics Ireland in conjunction with Westport Athletics Club.
The races will be chipped timed this year.
The race will then start and finish at Jack’s Old Cottage, Derrycooraune, Islandeady at 10am sharp on Saturday August 5th. From there participants will run in a clockwise direction around a 5km route ending back at Jack’s Cottage. Those entering the 10km event must cover the route a second time.
Parking will be available adjacent to Jack’s Cottage.
Participants will be able to collect their race number in Jack’s Cottage from 8am until 9.30am on the morning of race day. Race briefing will be at 9.45am.
Refreshments will be served after.
This year, the monies raised will be donated to the Islandeady Community Council Development Fund and Islandeady GAA in memory of Jessica Needham, formerly of Lismolin, Islandeady.
Entry is €15 per adult (plus booking fee) and under 16s are free when you book online. (Register Here)
Online registration closes on Friday at 12 noon
On the day registration is €20 per adult. You can register on Friday evening from 6.00 to 7.30pm or on the morning of the event from 8.00 to 9.30am.
