Courcey AC 5 Mile – Sunday, April 09, 2023 – Garrylucas, Dooneen, Kinsale, Co Cork

Courcey AC look forward to welcoming you to our first 5 mile road race. A fast five mile course in Courcey Country, County Cork. A looped course taking in the back roads and main roads between Ballinspittle & Garrylucas beach. A slight incline over mile 1, mile 2 & 3 are flat & fast. The final mile will have participants looking out at the Atlantic Ocean passing Garrettstown beach and finishing back at Garrylucas beach.

Set the pace by setting a course record for all to chase down in 2024!

• Participants must be 16 years or older on the day of the race
• Single race entry €20 + booking fee
• The use of headphones is not permitted during the race
• Entry non refundable/non-transferrable
• Buggies / Strollers not permitted
• Event capacity capped, get your entry in early

This event is run under an Athletics Ireland permit/licence

This course was measured by John Quigley AIMS/World Athletics Grade A Measurer

Please note for all races starting in 2023 the board of Athletics Ireland has established the requirement for all non-Athletics Ireland registered runners to purchase a One Day Licence (2 euro) during the registration process. This fee goes directly to Athletics Ireland not the race organisers. This fee does not apply to Athletics Ireland registered club members. See Athletics Ireland website for further information.
