Glengarriff 5 Mile

This is the first run as part of the Beara A.C. Autumn 5 Mile Series.

The race route will start at Sacred Heart Church, Glengarriff and then proceed through the village, down the Castletownbere Road, turn up the Coomerkane Road and into the Nature Reserve at Lady Bantry’s Lookout trail. The course will wind its way around the Big Meadow and Riverwalk Trails and return via the Kenmare Road to the Finish at the Parochial Hall.

This race takes place on open Public Roads and through Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve and will be run on a mixture of surfaces with tar/chip and concrete paths to the public roads and gravel paths within the Nature Reserve. While this is not ideal for wheelchair participants we would ask you to note that said paths are used regularly by participants with buggies in the weekly parkrun.

• Participants MUST be aged 16 and over
• This is Race 1 of a 4 Race Series (Each race will have separate entry)

Race Numbers will be available for pick up the evening before and the morning of the race.
