Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf 5 Mile and Half Marathon

The Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf half marathon and 5 mile take place in the scenic setting of Clontarf Promenade and Bull Island with views of Howth Head and Dublin Bay. The race is contained within an off-road promenade and Bull Island giving it a unique and relaxing appeal.
Both races are open to runners and walkers. The flat terrain makes it an ideal race to aim for a PB. The half marathon has pacers to help you achieve your goal. The 5 mile is all on hard surfaced ground.

5 Mile Course Map
5 Mile Runners will begin their journey from Alfie Byrne Road at 10:20am and travel along the Promenade on the Clontarf Road also. They will hit a point at Davis Court where they will turn and head back to the finishing village.
Half Marathon Course Map
Half Marathoners will leave Alfie Byrne Park at 10am and begin their journey up along the Dublin’s Coast. Runners will travel along Clontarf Road on the promenade and then on the inbound lane of the Howth Road. The route travels past St. Annes Park and on to Sutton, before turning around and working their way back over to Bull Island & down the coast.
